PACKAGING
AI Employee for packaging and industrial sales
Packaging is a coming Leif vertical. The pilot launches Step 7.5 and is aimed at family-run industrial sellers with repeat customers, quote traffic, and a lot of context sitting in email.
What this vertical will handle
Packaging and industrial sales work is relationship-heavy. The same customer may ask about boxes, wraps, labels, corrugated options, minimum order quantities, freight timing, replacement products, and rush needs across a long chain of emails. The seller knows the account history, but the useful context is often buried in old quotes and reorder notes.
The packaging Leif is designed to help with that queue. It can draft quote follow-ups, prepare reorder reminders, summarize customer history before a call, flag missing specs, and turn account notes into a cleaner next action. The goal is not to replace the salesperson. It is to keep the account work organized enough that the salesperson can spend more time with the customer.
Why it is coming soon
The first packaging build should be trained on a real sales desk, not invented from a template. That is why this page is lighter than the accounting and trades pages. Kaim Consulting will use the Step 7.5 packaging vertical pilot to learn the real terms, quote patterns, customer cadence, and approval rules before packaging becomes a broader offer.
Expected first workflows include quote cleanup, customer research, repeat-order nudges, inbox triage, and draft replies for product or timing questions. Once the pilot proves which parts are useful, the public offer will be tightened around those workflows.
Good fit
The likely fit is a packaging distributor, manufacturer rep, or industrial sales team where the owner or senior salesperson still has too much account context in their own head. If customers reorder, compare specs, and ask for frequent quote updates, Leif may become a useful sales assistant once the pilot is complete.
